Algebra Tips

Algebra is a branch of pure mathematics and forms an interesting curriculum of education in almost all schools, all over the world. In this article, I have presented some algebra tricks and algebra tips, that would be helpful to students and the rest alike. Browse through the algebra tips given below...

The algebra we study in schools is called elementary algebra, that aims to impart the basic meaning to variables and constants. I still remember my first algebra class, when the arithmetic numbers were replaced by alphabets and I was dumbfounded looking at my teacher (duh!). Algebra is broadly classified into many branches. Some other branches of algebra, which are a part of mathematics and are studied at higher levels, are linear algebra, abstract algebra, vector spaces and ring and field theories etc. In elementary algebra, numbers are replaced by letters and symbols and with the help of these letters we solve the problems. For example, if we are asked to find the area of a rectangle (A), given its length (l) and breath (b), we all know its area will be:

Area of rectangle (A)= Length (l) X Breadth (b)

Now, if you know the value of either of the two quantities, among the three variables, we can substitute the value of the two known variables and get the third one! One of the simple algebra tips! Isn't it? We need algebra because it drastically reduces the space for problem solving and lengthy problems can be solved in a few lines. Algebra finds many applications in fields of engineering, finance, economics and architecture!

The mathematical problems in algebra are expressed through algebraic equations. Algebraic equations are a combination of variables and constants. For instance, consider the equation, 3X= 9. This is a simple algebraic equation in one variable. Dividing both sides by 3, we get the solution of this equation as, X=3. Similarly, 3X + 2Y = 8, is an algebraic equation in two variables. Now, since this equation has two variables, we will require another equation with the same variables, to find the solution of this equation. Now consider,

3X + 1Y - 7Z= 8

This is an example of a linear equation in three variables. X,Y and Z are the three variables in this equation. Let's check out some other simple algebra tips! Here in this equation. X, Y and Z are the three variables, whose values can change with the constraint that the left hand side (L.H.S) of the equation must always be equal to the right hand side (R.H.S) of the equation. The numbers 3, 1 and -7 are called the coefficients of X, Y and Z respectively. The respective values of X, Y and Z, which make the L.H.S=R.H.S are called solutions of the given algebraic expression. This is so, because if we take X=3, Y= -1 and Z=0 and put in the above equation, we would get L.H.S=R.H.S.! Try it! You will get 8=8. Its as simple as that! Here, we got the solution with the help of hit and trial method. Suppose, we had to find the solution of this equation algebraically, then we would require two other linear equations in three variables.

Some important algebra tips that are the basics of algebra are as follows

* Add the same number on both sides of an equation. e.g., 5X - 8 = 7 is the same as 5X - 8 + 8 = 7 + 8.
* Subtract the same number on both sides of an equation. e.g. 2a + 4 - 5 = 6 – 5.
* Multiply both sides of an equation by the same (non-zero) number. e.g. (5/6)x = 7 is the same as 6 X (5/6)x = 7 X 6.
* Divide both sides of an equation by the same (non-zero) number. e.g. 2r = 10 is the same as (2r/2) = (10/2).
Order Of Operations- The PEDMAS Rule

There is a famous and important rule of PEDMAS, that is crucial in solving algebra problems. An important algebra tip is to understand the order of operations, that means, the series of steps you need to take while solving a mathematics problem involving squares, brackets, addition, subtraction and others. So, what is BODMAS? While working out arithmetic calculations, follow the order of operations mentioned below.

P stands for parenthesis/brackets.
E stands for exponential (squares, exponents, cubes, square roots etc.)
DM stands for division and multiplication (performed left to right)
AS stands for addition and subtraction (performed left to right)

Let's understand the rule of PEMDAS through an example,

Example - Evaluate 9 - 4 ÷ (8 - 4) x 2 + 6 using the order of operations.

Solution
Step1. 9 - 4 ÷ (8 - 4) x 2 + 6 = 9 - 4 ÷ 4 x 2 + 6 (parenthesis)
Step2. 9 - 4 ÷ 4 x 2 + 6 = 9 – 1 x 2 + 6 (Division)
Step3. 9 – 1 x 2 + 6 = 9 – 2 + 6 (Multiplication)
Step4. 9 – (-2) + 6 = 9 +4 (Addition)

Step5. 9+4 = 13

Women Fragrances an integral grooming product and fashion accessory

Now a day use of perfume has become an unavoidable part of human wearing. Whether it may be a male or a female it caters to everyone’s penchant. Fragrance can be of any type of concentrated flavors like rose, jasmine, mandarin, orange blossom, amber sandalwood and vanilla etc. with alcohol and a little percentage of water.

The use of perfume escalates during hot season due to heavy perspiration in humans than in any other season. The pleasant fragrance of perfume relaxes our mind from deodar. Many people use it to attract others any time and anywhere. The market demand for perfume has attracted many domestic and multinational companies to invest in this field. Perfume shops are available now in our door steps. One can purchase a cheaper perfume or a costlier one.

But the quality differs from one perfume to another. Armani perfume is one of the best quality perfumes and loved by many persons over the years. ARMANI which is an international brand entered into the perfume industry in the year 1981 with its sister concern named Giorgio Beverly Hills. Now a day some local perfume shops are selling duplicate perfume in the names of a branded perfume; the use of that kind of perfume may cause skin diseases. Therefore everybody should consider some factors when they are going to buy a perfume bottle.

Perfumes and colognes have changed the style and personality of people and demand for it is increasing day by day. From Armani perfume to Yves Saint Laurent many designers and brands of perfume that are coming to the market over the years have been appealing to masses. It has become a perfect gift for both man and woman today in the occasion like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Birth Day, Christmas Day and even ceremony.

Over the years women and fashion have become inter-related. Each and every modern lady from a small girl to an old woman all over the globe has made perfume as an integral part of their fashion statement. The woman fragrance is a blend of hyacinth and different flower flavors. The women fragrance is also termed as romantic wear.

Above all one should buy perfume from a proper platform, where he or she can get discounts and good quality product. And the fragrance must suits his or her personality; this means the fragrance should be soft and that may not upset others at any plac

The weakest link in today's marketing model is the smooth assimilation of online with offline into one cohesive process. A well designed web site and a carefully planned Ad campaign are both crippled if they aren't seamlessly combined with an online offer.

Here is what I mean, I looked at a local Newspaper last week. I found that when it comes to combining offline advertising with the web advertising, eighty seven percent of the ads in issue were either wasted or doing a poor job of communicating an Online presence for the advertiser's business.

Advertising is a business tool. Advertising communicates solutions and prompts action. When an advertisement pulls a consumer to the website, the opportunity to present a targeted offer is huge. Motivated visitors are buyers. That means that your offline offer and your Online offer must build on one another. Marketing will lure a potential client. The website must convert the visitor through value and focused actions.

Some people have argued that advertising is mostly a branding vehicle and it is not practicle to guage an ads true success by its immediate pull. Simply stated, that's not accurate. When looking at all the advertisements I reviewed for this article, one hundred and twelve contained direct calls to action; visit, call, learn, contact, and so forth. Seventeen did not. Half were clearly suggesting that a visit to the business was a logical next step. When a call to action is presented, the ad's success must be based on the action being taken. From this point, the branding concept becomes an excuse if the ad does not perform as expected.

So what is the next big question to ask? "What do we do if the ad actually pulls new visitors?" What happens if a visitor responds to the message and decides to take that highly desired act of folowing the URL? What should happen is that these visitors should be sent to a unique sales page, where they are presented with an offer that relates directly to the ad message they responded to. The offer should mention the referring publication and reflect an understanding of that visitors expectations. The offer should talk more specifically about the topic the ad presented (solution, benefit, social proof... whatever). The offer should itself contain further calls to action or a clear process to purchase a product or service.

Online marketing is not a fire and forget process. Visitors from advertising must not be dumped onto a general home page and left find the information for themselves. This occurs if no focused content is immediately visible or relates to the ad they responded to.

From the ads reviewed I found that; 1. Sixty-six percent of the ads in our sample issue use a home page as the URL linked to. These ads cost a fair amount of money to deliver a message, and drove the visitor to a general page that had no specific next step (either graphically or textually). 2. Nine percent have no URL at all. 3. Twelve percent have unique URLs, but were wasted since the visitor was drive to a hit counter to determine pull.

These are simple errors that are easy to fix. Businesses everywhere are in dire need of cost-effective marketing solutions. The opportunity to provide quality consulting services has never been greater!

A History of Religious Jewelry

When many people usually think of jewelry, they are thinking of anything adorning their bodies in ornamental fashion that make them stand out.  While this is almost always true, jewelry can have many symbolic and social meanings depending on where you visit.  Religious jewelry such as crosses and rosary beads are one of the most popular types of adornments.  One of the first uses of jewelry was actually to show religious affiliation and not because of aesthetics.

For example, jewelry in Ancient Egypt was mostly symbolic.  They used a lot of gold chains, scarabs, serpents, eyes, and other animals to represent the gods and eternal life at times.  This time period during Egyptian history marks the time when jewelry was the most extravagant because gold and precious jewels were actually in abundance.  Almost every piece of jewelry was made of some kind of real precious stone and pure gold.  When religious jewelry became far more popular, they were made with cheaper materials like silver and other metals.

When Christianity rolled around, the cross, the rosary, and the Christian fish charm became very popular.  All of these pieces have symbolic meaning even today, although people do tend to wear these things with a little less seriousness than hundreds of years ago.  The love for God and Christ is present in all these pieces.  The message in these pieces of jewelry may be fading a little bit, but that doesn't mean that white gold chains, crosses, and fish aren't still flying off the shelves.

By the time the Americas were discovered, it became clear that the natives here in North America also used a lot of jewelry to adorn their bodies.  The natives used their jewelry as a symbol of nature at times and it represented status at others.  Many religious ceremonies are performed around the jewelry.  The jewelry the Native Americans used wasn't like that of the Egyptians.  These pieces were made of the metals of the Earth and from the animals they respected.  Feathers were a popular type adornment along with silver and turquoise.  But just because they were made from humble materials, doesn't mean that there wasn't a lot of tradition and ceremony that went with them.  They were very careful with the colors and materials because each would represent something different.Using the wrong colors could mean disaster.

Guided Fishing Trips on Idaho Rivers

Spend 4 days fishing on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. For those in the rod and reel set, beginner or expert, early fall on the free-flowing Salmon River is signaled by the biggest hits of the year—some of the finest Blue Ribbon catch-and-release trout fishing in the nation. The Middle Fork of the Salmon is one of the original Wild and Scenic Rivers. Flowing through the largest federally protected wilderness in the continental U.S., the Middle Fork offers a rugged and varied terrain. Travel through pine-clad mountains, rolling grasslands and narrow gorges. Although the whitewater may be world renowned, simply put, the fishing on the Middle Fork Salmon River is superb, and offers some of the best cutthroat fishing in Idaho.

The most popular gamefish in Idaho is the trout. Rainbow, cutthroat and the rare red-band and bull trout are all native to the state’s waters. Brook and German brown trout have been introduced to Idaho’s waters. Fisherman rave about the steelhead and rainbow trout fishing opportunities. Smallmouth bass fishing is at its best on the Snake River. When the high waters of the Middle Fork begin to slow—usually in July—the fish begin to run. The Middle Fork is a catch-and-release Blue Ribbon trout fishery, teeming with 12-15-inch beauties. If you’re an avid angler, this is the river for you. If you choose to do some fishing on your trip, you will need to bring your own gear. For specific information, call the Idaho Department of Fish and Game at 800-554-8685 or go to their website http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/.
What types of wildlife inhabit the river canyons and surrounding mountains?

The large mammal population includes elk, moose, white-tailed deer, mountain goats, big-horn sheep, mountain lions (cougars), short-tailed bobcat and lynx. Gray wolves were re-introduced to the Idaho wilderness in early 1995. As a result, about 350 wolves now roam the Frank Church Wilderness Area and the Selway/Bitterroot Wilderness to the north and adjacent country. Although there’s no guarantee, wildlife sightings are common on most O.A.R.S. Idaho rafting trips.
Birds in Idaho? You bet!

The official state bird, the mountain bluebird, is just one of hundreds of birds that may be seen on your Idaho vacation. A year-round population of white pelicans thrives in the Snake River drainage. Idaho has many migratory birds such as the Caspian tern, snowy egret, great blue heron, black-crowned night herons and tundra swan. One of Idaho’s most significant water birds is the trumpeter swan, a large white bird that weighs, on average, 24 pounds and has a wingspan of 10 feet. Game birds include grouse, pheasant and the chukar (a partridge-like gamebird). Idaho’s most notable birds are its raptors. You may have the opportunity to see eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, turkey vultures, northern harriers, kestrels and possibly even bald eagles and osprey.

Dressing a Male as a Female

Dressing a Male as a Female

In order to be pulled off in an effective and convincing manner, dressing a male as a female requires a great deal of effort. The right outfit matched with the perfect cosmetic makeup can help turn an ordinary Joe into an extraordinary Joann

Lady in the Making

Men in feminine attire always turn heads and inevitably invite the question, "Is that a man or a woman?" Sometimes the results are laughable, while other times the difference is difficult to notice. The craft of dressing a male as a female is intensive, interesting, and filled with quirky fun! On the big screen, many famous actors have been cast as ladies. In the real world, there are men who practice this fetish in the privacy of their homes, and some even choose to live their daily lives as transvestites.

Tips for Dressing a Male as a Female

f you are planning to carry out this tricky endeavor, try these important tips to help convince the world that this dude, in fact, looks like a lady.

Specialty boutiques and online retailers make cross dressing apparel available. Bras for men to wear will be needed first, as they provide the foundation of a feminine ensemble. In order to convince the rest of the world that you’re a woman, you’re going to need an eye catching bosom. Plan on stuffing this bra with breast form inserts to create a firm and shapely chest. A specialty bra will also provide the contour shaping needed to create the coveted hourglass shape.

After the bra is stuffed, it’s time to squeeze into a proper fitting pair of underwear. Men will need to conceal their attributes while creating a round and lifted backside. An exercise plan heavy in squats and lunges will be required to create this look naturally, but in the short time, invest in butt padding to create the illusion of a round and voluptuous booty. Discreet online retailers who specialize in transvestite apparel make specialty panties available, and men can choose from a variety of sexy lingerie options such as thongs, lacy briefs, and boy shorts. Thongs may take some getting used to, but women everywhere suffer daily in these sexy little undergarments, so it can be done.

A color coordinating chart will help you determine the colors that will flatter your hair and skin tone while creating a fashionable ensemble. Wearing these select shades in your cosmetic and apparel palette will brighten your complexion while adding depth and definition to your best features.

Tips to Avoid Giving Away Your Secret

Pay close attention to fixing the most glaring and obvious manly giveaways. Just sporting a thong and stuffed bra will hardly convince the world you’re a woman if you’ve got a pronounced Adam’s apple gracing your neckline. The following simple tips are crucial and should be part of any cross dressing routine:

* Shave your legs, your arms, and, most definitely, your facial hair. Nothing will blow your cover quicker than facial hair.
* Wear turtlenecks or scarves to conceal your Adam’s apple.
* Shop for blouses with billowy shapes to create a feminine silhouette.
* Apply lipstick and other color cosmetics to soften facial features and add a feminine flair.
* Wear a relaxed wig with body and loose curls to soften strong facial features and smooth out sharp angles.
* Shape, wax, and groom your eyebrows.
* Keep your fingers and toenails in tiptop shape. Opt for regular manicures and pedicures. Apply cuticle oil regularly to soften rough skin at the nail bed.
* Try a light feminine fragrance instead of cologne.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun

When you plan on dressing as a female, be sure to set plenty of time aside. After experiencing firsthand the ordeal that is bra stuffing, panty pulling, and makeup applying, you will develop a completely new appreciation for what women go through. You may just look at the basic button down shirt and comfy soft boxers you've grown used to in a whole new, appreciative light.

If you need more help, feel free to meet with a cosmetic consultant at the local department store to find the colors and application techniques that will help transition you towards a ladylike appearance. Rest assured that these cosmetic experts have worked with transvestites and cross dressers before, and they undoubtedly know how to make you feel comfortable and confident.

Once you've perfected your look, you are cordially welcomed to the world of womanhood with one final request: stay away from another woman's man!

Modeling Articles

What is Glamour?
By modern definitions, the word glamour means: “alluring beauty or charm (often with sex-appeal)”. In photographic or modelling terms, “glamour”, concentrates on a model’s appearance and presentation rather than the clothes she may or may not be wearing. It is about creating sexually provocative images, with the model often appearing to be in a constant state of near-orgasm! It is about the attitude, the eroticism, the mood, and sometimes nothing more than a particular look in a model’s eyes.

Planning A Wedding On A Tight Budget

You really wanted that lavish wedding day but money is tight and you don't really want to go abroad. Don't be embarrassed about not spending a fortune on one day - most people will understand, and if they don't, did you really want them at your wedding anyway?
Plan an intimate affair involving immediate family only. Book a room or a secluded table in an exclusive restaurant and splash out on a sumptuous feast that you wouldn't normally be able to afford.
Explain to friends that you really only wanted a small wedding but you are looking forward to celebrating with them at a later date.
Ask a friend that you trust with a camera, if they would mind being your photographer for the day. Consider buying a good digital camera for quality photos. Digital photos can be adjusted if necessary and can look just as good as a professional photograph if processed in a quality photo-shop. Do some test shots in advance of the day and buy your own wedding album.
If you still want to celebrate with friends hire a local church hall or banqueting suite in a hotel and organise an evening buffet. You can decorate the room yourself the night before with colour co-ordinating balloons, napkins etc and make the room look really special. If you want to book a hotel say it is a family occasion when you enquire about the price as many hotels will add extras if you tell them it is a wedding. Ask a friend to act as DJ. Tell everyone to bring along some Cd's with their name on the cover or make up your own compilation in advance.
Make your own invitations or buy standard invitations in your local stationery shop. There are lots of websites to help you design your own invitations and simple can look very elegant
